  • Rx: As Prescribed; as written; WOD completed without modification
  • SDHP: Sumo Deadlift High Pull
  • Sub: to substitute a movement in place of another due to modification
  • TnG: Touch and go. No dropping, no resting on the floor
  • TGU: Turkish Get up
  • TM: Training Max (A sub-maximal weight used to take %s from during a program)
  • TTB: Toes to Bar
  • UB: Unbroken- complete the set without stopping. Synonymous with continuous
  • WOD: Workout of the Day

Notation

  • 3×5: 3 sets of 5 reps. The first number is always the sets and the second number is reps. Can also be read “3 by 5”
  1. Across: same weight for all sets
  2. Climbing: increase weight each set
  • 5-5-5-5-5. 5 Sets of 5 reps. Increasing in weight each time, as heavy as possible.
  • Heavy 3, Heavy 5, Heavy 5. A heavy anything is what it sounds like for a heavy 5, you would work up to a heavy set of 5 but not necessarily maximal.
